Download Eudora E-Mail for Window Programs. Please note that this version has been customized for Computan Internet Access customers. Others may also use the program after modifying the setup options and replacing any reference to Computan with that of their own Internet Service Provider.
Other versions of Eudora messaging programs are available from the Eudora (Qualcomm) web site.
Retail versions can be obtained from Bits & Bytes Computer Services.

Netscape has just released the new Netscape Communicator version 6.2

Download Netscape Communicator 6.0 for Windows 95/98 here. If you have an older system, you may find Version 6 a little slow. You can download version 4.77 by clicking here. Plug-ins and other versions are available at the Netscape Website

Concerned about hackers?  What about worm viruses that can invade your system and send confidential information from your computer to another web-site without your knowledge? Update to Internet Explorer to Version 6.0. After downloading this file, run the application and it will take you to the Microsoft web site. At the web site you will be given a choice of which options you want to download and a variety of different download locations. The total file is quite large and is dependant on options that you select.

Net Meeting Version 3.0 from Microsoft. With this program you can meet other people on the Internet. If you have a digital camera you can also hold video-conferencing sessions.

Cybersitter for Windows 95/98. This program filters out unwanted sites if you have young people who access the Internet. This version is a time limited shareware version and expires after 10 days. Full versions can be obtained from their web site. You should also be aware that these type of utilities require some customization to ensure unwanted material is kept out and that some sites that you wish to visit may be blocked. Parental guidance is still the best and safest way of limiting or excluding unwanted adult material. NOTE: if you have Windows 95 you will have to update the Windows Socket.  Download the socket upgrade patch here.

ICQ 2001(b) for Windows. This is the popular chat program that alerts you when friends are logged on. This is a Beta version and you should visit their web site for assistance on installation and configuration. You will be required to visit their site as part of the setup and registration process.
